the hotel is located right in downtown St John in the middle of what appeared to be a really great neighborhood there on the water. There were lots of shops and restaurants there within walking distance and the neighborhood felt very safe and clean. The rooms were very nice with super comfortable beds and a great flat-screen television. The staff was happy to provide a map of the area and made some helpful suggestions for dinner. We would be happy to stay there again.

We arrived at the Hotel at midnight after driving straight through from Massachusetts. The young woman at the front desk was very patient and helpful. Also the staff person they sent to help us with the hotel and garage elevators so late at night was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights. The hotels location is in the heart of down town Saint John and is directly connected to one of the malls as well as glass inclosed walkways over the streets connecting it to another other buildings and stores. Great when the weather is not good for walking. There are several wonderful restaurants , museum as well as interesting shops in the area. My daughter used the gym and the pool at the hotel each day we were there . The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and the wait staff very curteous. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has terrible front desk staff who don't care about guests at all. Once we straightened out a small reservation problem, we were given a room with no air conditioning. We were then given a room with air conditioning that barely worked. The entire property was dirty.
